About Urukk Blades
Our Story & the Artisan
Urukk Blades was founded in early 2022 by Jesudas Puthumana, an artist and mechanical engineer from Kochi, Kerala, India. Prior to founding Urukk Blades, Jesudas worked as a Project Manager on large-scale industrial construction projects in the Middle East.
Knife making is a deep passion for Jesudas and serves as a medium through which he pursues artistic excellence. Every Urukk Blades knife is meticulously handcrafted, hand-sharpened, and hand-finished by the artisan himself.
